At Versus Cycles (“Versus”), a division of Fulcrum Solutions, Inc. (“Fulcrum”), we value your business and are committed to provide you the best quality product and excellent customer service. This information is to assist you in understanding how to receive warranty service if such a need arises.

The limited warranty set forth in this agreement may not be extended or modified by any Versus/Fulcrum agent, dealer or employee. Nothing in this warranty affects any statutory rights of consumers that cannot be waived or limited by contract. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state and jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

What is Covered in Versus Limited Warranty

All Versus frames are warranted against manufacturer defects in materials or workmanship for two years from the date of original purchase, while owned by the original registered purchaser. Proof of purchase required. Finishes (paint and decals) on all Versus frames are warranted against manufacturer defects in materials or workmanship for one year to the original registered purchaser from the date of original purchase. Warranty coverage on component parts while owned by the original registered purchaser are subject to warranty offered by their respective manufacturers. This warranty is not transferable to subsequent owners.

What is not Covered in Versus Limited Warranty

This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, damages or failures resulting from abuse, misuse, neglect, improper assembly or maintenance, theft, unapproved modifications, negligence, accidents, or racing. Damage occurring during shipment is excluded from this warranty. Bending of frames or forks is a sign of abuse or misuse and is excluded from this warranty. All labor and shipping charges for warranty services are the responsibility of the original purchaser.

If a Versus frame is damaged and is not covered under this warranty, the Versus “Crash Replacement Policy” will replace it with a new frame or part of the frame assembly at a nominal charge.

Warranty Limitations

Limitation of Remedies

The exclusive remedy for any defective frame is limited to the replacement of the defective frame or part of the frame assembly. Versus will replace the defective frame or part of the frame assembly with a new one of the same size and the same or most nearly comparable model then available. The limited warranty of the replacement frame or part will be the balance of the applicable period of the original warranty or 90 days from the date of shipment of the replacement frame, whichever is later. No cash refunds will be offered under this warranty.


Limitation of Damages


Fulcrum’s entire liability for breach of warranty is limited to the replacement of defective product. This limitation applies even if any exclusive remedy fails of its essential purpose or if Fulcrum was advised of any specific use or potential damages.


Limitation of Implied Warranties


THE FOREGOING WARRANTIES ARE IN LIEU OF AND EXCLUDE ALL OTHER WARRANTIES NOT EXPRESSLY SET FORTH HEREIN, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, BY OPERATION OF LAW OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

FULCRUM SHALL IN NO EVENT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES, DAMAGES OR INJURIES IN CONNECTION WITH ITS BICYCLE PRODUCTS OR ARISING OUT OF THIS WARRANTY. THESE INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: LOST PROFITS, LOST COMPENSATION, LOST BUSINESS, LOST SAVINGS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR THE INSTALLATION OF REPLACEMENT PRODUCTS.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON THE DURATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; THEREFORE, THE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE AND JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION.


Crash Replacement Policy
If your Versus frame is damaged due to crashes and accidents and is not covered by the warranty, it is at Versus Cycles’ sole discretion to replace it with a new frame or part of the frame assembly for 30% below Versus Cycles’ current suggested retail price. The Crash Replacement policy is available only to the original registered purchaser. Proof of purchase required.

Please contact Versus Customer Support to get a Return Material Authorization (“RMA”) number prior to returning your damaged frame. Product returned without an RMA number will be returned to you at your expense.

Warranty/Crash Replacement

Returns Please follow the following steps to expedite your return:

  1. Let us know your reason for returning the product via email at support@versuscycles.com or Customer Support phone number at 510-770-1284.
  2. We will issue you an RMA number to be written on the outside of your return package.
  3. Return the product in the original box and packaging materials if possible. Please send it via traceable means such as UPS along with a copy of the original receipt to:

You are responsible for return shipping charges. In no event will Versus/Fulcrum Solutions be responsible for any items lost or damaged in shipping. Returns are processed within three (3) business days of receipt of your item.
